✅ Update User Info and Preset Messages on inReach Mini 2
🟢 Step 1: Update user info (name, phone, emergency contacts)
1️⃣ Go to Garmin Explore website.
2️⃣ Log in autoboxyyc@gmail.com and password (I will send you once confirmed).
3️⃣ Click on Account (top right corner or in the menu).
4️⃣ Choose My Info.
5️⃣ Update under Emergency Information by clicking Edit:
- Name (change to your name)
- Phone number (current your number)
- Emergency contacts (people who know the you)

6️⃣ Click Save.
💬 Why update this?
When someone presses SOS, Garmin rescue center uses this info to confirm who needs help and who to contact.
🟢 Step 2: Update preset messages
1️⃣ Still on Garmin Explore website.
2️⃣ Click on Messages (or Preset Messages, depending on your region).
3️⃣ Update the recipients as well.
4️⃣ Click Save.
🟢 Step 3: Sync the device
✅ After finishing updates above, sync the device by check message
📱 Option A: Sync using phone
- Turn on the inReach Mini 2.
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Open Garmin Explore app on phone (login as autoboxyyc@gmail.com).
- Tap inReach Device.
- Tap Sync and wait for it to finish.
💻 Option B:
⚠️ Important notes
- User info (name & contacts) for SOS updates instantly on Garmin’s server, so it works even without sync — but syncing is still good practice.
- Preset messages require sync to appear on the device.

The device is now ready to use safely with correct user info and updated preset messages.
